Entries generated after seeing a promoted/advertised version of the official post are treated exactly the same as organic entries.
CONTEST FAQ
Can the membership be used for the upcoming Fall Season?
Yes.
Once the winner has been verified, the HYBRID membership can be activated and used during the upcoming Fall Season.
The HYBRID membership changes your membership status, booking access and applicable member pricing. It does not make Fall leagues, programs, clinics, tournaments or court bookings automatically free. Normal HYBRID member pricing still applies where applicable.
Can existing Forge members enter?
Absolutely.
Forge Lite, HYBRID and ULTIMATE members are all eligible to enter, provided they otherwise meet the contest eligibility requirements.
If the winner already has a paid Forge membership, The Forge will apply the full $779 membership value toward the winner’s current or next membership term so that membership time already paid for is not lost.
Does HYBRID mean I play for free for a year?
No.
The prize covers the Annual HYBRID Membership fee itself.
HYBRID members receive the benefits and preferred pricing associated with the HYBRID membership, but standard HYBRID court fees and other applicable member charges still apply.
That’s why we describe the prize as:
One Annual HYBRID Membership — On Us.
Do I have to tag someone?
No.
Your qualifying comment must tell us who you would play with and what you would use the membership for, but you do not have to tag that person’s social account.
If you win, you will be able to nominate your pickleball partner to receive the $100 Forge account credit.
Does tagging someone give me another entry?
No.
There is a maximum of:
1 Instagram entry + 1 Facebook entry = 2 entries per person.
Multiple comments, tags or shares do not create additional entries.
Do I have to share the post?
No.
Sharing the giveaway is appreciated but is not required and does not create an additional contest entry.
Can I enter on only Instagram or only Facebook?
Yes.
You do not need accounts on both platforms.
Entering on one platform gives you one entry.
Entering separately on both Instagram and Facebook gives you two entries.
Do paid/promoted giveaway posts count differently?
No.
The Forge may promote the official giveaway posts through Meta advertising during the contest.
Whether you discover the giveaway organically or through a promoted placement, a valid entry on the official Instagram or Facebook post counts the same.
How is the winner selected?
After the contest closes, The Forge will create a pool of eligible entries.
Each unique qualifying Instagram entrant receives one entry.
Each unique qualifying Facebook entrant receives one entry.
Anyone who validly entered on both platforms receives two total entries.
The winner will be selected at random from the eligible entry pool.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
How do you verify the winner?
The Forge will verify the selected entrant before awarding the prize.
The selected entrant must have completed the entry requirements on the platform associated with the selected entry, including following The Forge, liking the official giveaway post and leaving a qualifying comment.
The selected entrant must also correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question before being declared the official winner.
If the selected entrant cannot be verified, does not meet the eligibility requirements, does not respond within the required timeframe or does not correctly answer the skill-testing question, another entrant may be selected.
How will I know if I won?
The potential winner will be contacted only by an official The Forge account.
We will never ask a winner to provide payment, banking information or a credit-card number in order to receive this prize.
After verification, the winner will also be announced through The Forge’s official social channels.
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
1. Sponsor
The contest is sponsored and administered by The Forge Pickleball Club, 1680 Vimont Court, Unit 103, Orléans, Ontario.
2. Contest Period
The contest begins September 1, 2026 and closes September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
Entries received after the Contest Period will not be eligible.
The potential winner is expected to be selected on or about October 1, 2026.
3. Eligibility
The contest is open to residents of Canada, Canada who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Existing Forge members are eligible.
Employees, directors and officers of The Forge and members of their immediate households are not eligible to enter.
No purchase is necessary.
4. How to Enter
An entrant may receive:

one eligible entry through Instagram; and
-
one eligible entry through Facebook.
Maximum two entries per person.
To receive an entry on a platform, the entrant must:
-
follow The Forge on that platform;
-
like the official giveaway post; and
-
leave one qualifying comment responding to the contest prompt.
Multiple comments on the same platform do not result in additional entries.
Entries must remain visible and accessible at the time of winner verification.
5. Prize
There is one prize package available.
The selected winner will receive:
One Annual HYBRID Membership at The Forge — Approximate Retail Value $779
The winner may also nominate one pickleball partner who will receive:
$100 Forge Account Credit
Total Approximate Retail Value: $879
The HYBRID prize covers the annual membership fee only. Standard HYBRID member court fees and other applicable charges remain payable.
The prize and Forge account credit have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash.
6. Existing Members
Existing members are eligible to win.
Where a winner already holds a paid Forge membership, The Forge will apply the $779 membership value toward the winner’s current or next applicable membership term
so the winner receives the full value of the prize.
7. Winner Selection
The potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
An entrant who validly enters through both Instagram and Facebook will have two entries in the draw.
8. Winner Verification
Before being declared the official winner, the selected entrant must:

satisfy all contest eligibility requirements;
-
have completed the qualifying entry requirements;
-
correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question; and
-
respond to The Forge within 48 hours of being contacted.
If a selected entrant cannot be verified or fails to satisfy these conditions, The Forge may select an alternate entrant.
9. Prize Award
The prize will be awarded without unreasonable delay following winner verification.
The winner and nominated partner may be required to have or create a Forge account in order for the membership and account credit to be applied.
10. General Conditions
The Forge reserves the right to disqualify entries that are fraudulent, automated, duplicated through multiple accounts, incomplete, abusive or otherwise inconsistent with the spirit or requirements of the contest.
The Forge may make reasonable changes necessary to administer the contest fairly if circumstances outside its reasonable control affect the operation of the contest.
The decisions of The Forge regarding contest administration and eligibility are final, subject to applicable law.
11. Instagram and Facebook
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta.
By participating, entrants acknowledge that Instagram, Facebook and Meta are not responsible for the administration of the contest or the awarding of the prize.
12. Privacy
Information obtained in connection with the contest will be used by The Forge for contest administration, winner verification and prize fulfillment, subject to applicable privacy requirements.
Participation in the contest does not automatically subscribe an entrant to unrelated marketing communications.
